Diving in the Abacos is a little different than many other locations in the Bahamas because the reefs here are exposed to the Atlantic Ocean. Most sites are 60 feet or less and exposed to cooler waters forming hard reef systems to protect themselves from harsh conditions. There are many tunnels and caverns to be explored in this area, sloping walls, and even the chance to see sharks.
There are 4 dive operators, a dive shop, and at least 10 different dive sites to choose from.
The dive shop you'll be able to find are listed here:

If you're ready to dive, you might want to check with Dive Abaco. Everything scuba -- and snorkeling -- is available through Dive Abaco. This includes all of your certification courses, a number of different dive trips, equipment rentals, underwater photography, night dives, and more. They are located in Marsh Harbour, in eastern Abaco.
Another good option is Dive Guana. Dive Guana is Great Guana Cay's full service dive center. Offering both PADI instruction and certification as well as daily dives, and even snorkeling trips for those who are interested in something a little less intense, and all of your underwater needs are covered. They can be reached at (242) 365-5178.
A third good option is Froggies Out Island Adventures. Although Froggies specializes in scuba diving training and excursions, they also offer snorkeling and sightseeing tours. They're found within Hopetown, in eastern Abaco.
