Over 50 years ago a school teacher from New York City settled on Little Harbour to encourage his career as a bronze sculptor. Over the years, he built his own bronze foundary and began making piece depicting the natural scenery that surrounded him. Today, though this man, Randolph Johnston has passed, the gallery still stands housing locally made artwork and hosting fun events that promote the arts.
Pete, Randolph Johnston's son is now a bronze artist in his own right who specializes in busts of famous politicians and wild life.
Pete's Pub & Gallery can be found near the middle of the island of Great Abaco, 4.6 miles northeast of Cherokee Sound; it's 15 miles (23 and a half kilometers) to the south of Hopetown.
If you're hoping to do a lot of comparison shopping, you might be disappointed -- but you could consider browsing one of the other interesting shops that are fairly close, like Johnston Foundry & Gallery. It's located just less than a hundred yards (less than a hundred meters) Northeast of Pete's Pub & Gallery, so it would be practical to visit there as well.
