...dock at various marinas...

Thanks to their close location to the south of Florida, the Bahamas are hugely popular amongst yachters, and even those who don't have their own vessels often choose to hire a charter to get them to their vacation point. If you're sailing yourself, you'll need to stop at an official port of entry. In the Abacos, these are Green Turtle Cay, Green Turtle Cay, Sandy Point, Walkers Cay, Grand Cay, Spanish Cay, and Treasure Cay, so you have plenty of options to choose from.

As you near the island, fly your yellow quarantine flag, and place a call into Harbour Control over VHF Channel 16 to let them know you are on your way. Someone will meet you on the dock to go over your paperwork and conduct the inspection. Until you've been cleared, only the captain will be able to leave the boat. Everyone must fill out an immigration card, as well as present proof of citizenship. Once approved, you'll be required to pay between $150 and $300(USD) depending on the length of your vessel for your cruising permit, fishing permit, and departure fee. The fee is for four people, and is good for 90 days. Another $15(USD) is charged per person if there are more than four people on board.

After you've gained entry, you're welcome to sail around the islands and dock at various marinas. There are so many options that you could technically dock at a different spot every night.
