This Abaco Club golf course features one of those special layouts that not only complements the beauty of its natural surrounds, but also creates a challenging round of golf. It is mostly used by members, but non-members are also welcomed, especially if they express interest in joining. Course Description

The golf course is open from 8am to sunset. The practice facilities are open from 7:30am to 6:00pm.

The lay of the land, hole placement, and practice areas are all part of the design by Donald Steel and Tom MacKenzie, the lead architect of this golf course. It has a course rating of 74.2, and its 18 holes stretch out a total of 6848 yards.

The course is situated snugly in a cove on the breathtaking Winding Bay. The course is designed alongside the sand dunes and deep grasslands native to the region. The course works very well in these surroundings, and makes use of the undulating landscape. Golfers will have incredible ocean views nearly the entire time, and will be listening to the sound of crashing waves as they make their way around the course.

Policies and Fees

From October 15th to May 4th, the green fess for guests of members is $125. Unaccompanied guests can play for $300. Prices are $50 cheaper during the rest of the year.


If putting isn't your strong suit, get there a bit early to get in some practice. The great thing is that this golf course does have a practice putting green for patrons to use. Novices or professionals that are taking the time to practice their swing should use the driving range that is available here.
