If you're looking for an enjoyable secluded beach, The Shacks might be a good choice. Not far from some major tourist areas, The Shacks has been able to keep a low profile despite its very large beach and relatively easy access. Being located right where the Atlantic Ocean turns into the Caribbean Sea, this beach has a nice hybrid of clear Caribbean Waters and rough Atlantic Waves.

If you're on the lookout for a place where you can while away some free time, Point Borinquen Lighthouse may be just what you're looking for. Set on the Coast Guard Base in Aguadilla, the Point Borinquen Lighthouse was originally built by the Spanish government in 1889, but destroyed by a tsunami in 1918. The next incarnation was built on higher grounds, but the ruins of the original lighthouse have been left untouched for generations.
