Andros Lighthouse Beach

This beach is mainly used by boaters using the Andros Lighthouse Yacht Club & Marina, but is open to other visitors as well. It's isolated and quiet, and certainly worth a visit if you're in the area. Don't expect anything in the way of facilities, though.

Located in the eastern outskirts of Andros Town, Andros Lighthouse Beach is on the East coast of North Andros Island. You should consider dropping by even if you are not staying in the vicinity. This beach is not just a tropical beauty, it also has a private beach feel——a unique quailty in a touristy place like the Bahamas. While Andros Lighthouse Beach may be a little more difficult to reach, it allows travelers to truly relax and claim their own space on the beach.

How to Access The Beach
From the southwest corner of the Andros Lighthouse Yacht Club & Marina on the south side of Fresh Creek, there is a path that will take you directly out to the beach.

Amenities and Ambiance

Located just next to the mouth of Fresh Creek, the beach's white sand stretches on for quite a distance, and the calm, shallow waters make this a good spot for a swim.

Unfortunately, restrooms will not be available here, which is something to consider if you're bringing the kids, or plan to spend all day outside.
