Cow Wreck Bay, located on the island of Anegada, offers miles of soft, white sand, accompanied by some of the best swimming waters in the British Virgin Islands. The area is largely undeveloped, with a local beach bar one of the few options for food and drink in the immediate area. The long stretch of ocean reefs allow the water to be calm and swimmable.

Situated on the western coast of the island of Anegada, 2.0 miles northwest of Setting Point, You might think about stopping by regardless of whether you're staying in the immediate vicinity. If you plan to sunbathe or take a nap on a fairly secluded beach, you should venture a little farther from the city, and a little closer to Cow Wreck Bay.

How to Access The Beach
The beach is accessible via small roads running off the northern coastal road.

Amenities and Ambiance

The bay is surrounded by beautiful plant life and sand dunes and offers miles of soft, white sand. Guarded by the extensive coral reefs offshore, the waters are calm and shallow, perfect for casual swimming and snorkeling.

Many visitors find themselves ordering a drink or snack from the concessions here, even if they move off-site for lunch.

Unfortunately, you won't find any public restrooms along this coastline, which is something to consider if you're bringing the kids, or plan to spend all day outside. You'll find the waters off-shore to be clear enough for snorkeling, so grab your gear if you want to see what lies beneath the surface.
