Captain's Bay is near the Valley, so touring the city could be a fun side-trip after visiting the beach. the Valley is the closest city and is noted for its balance between seclusion and urbanization. From the coast, the Valley is about six miles (nine and a half kilometers) away.
The number of other vacationers sharing this coastline can vary widely, depending on when you visit, and how many of the nearby hotel rooms have been booked. There are not many major hotels nearby, but it can appeal to guests from smaller lodgings in the area.
