If isolation and serenity are what you seek in a beach, Captain's Bay is your own personal paradise. However, the surf is too rough and the undertow too strong for swimming and water sports, unless you're a dare devil.

Located on the northeastern coast of the island of Anguilla, near East End, You might think about stopping by even if you aren't staying in the vicinity. It's often said that Captain's Bay is perfect for escaping the hustle of Anguilla's urban areas. Most other beaches in Anguilla may be just as refreshing as Captain's Bay, but are usually more crowded since they're right in the thick of tourists' favorite hangouts.

How to Access The Beach
Travelers will find Captain's Bay only after navigating harsh terrain and exploring a few dirt roads. It's not an easily accessible beach, but if you're willing to trudge your way out there, it's magically serene and the views are wonderful.

Amenities and Ambiance

The beach is located on the northeastern tip of Anguilla, where the Atlantic surf is ferocious and has a strong undertow. Sunset views are fantastic here but the water is too rough for swimming or sports.

The concession stand located here is another lunchtime alternative. Depending on the season and time of day, you may also be able to buy food from one of the local vendors who are typically found at this location.

Unfortunately, you won't find any public restrooms along this coastline, but you may be able to find facilities at a nearby business. Secluded and hard to reach, you won't find many other people at Captain's Bay, so be sure to visit the beach with friends or family.

Captain's Bay brings visitors an angelic and relaxing escape, as the area surrounding the beach is more rural than urban.
