Located in Cove Bay, 0.8 miles south of Meads Bay, this beach is on the South West coast of Anguilla. You should think about stopping by regardless of whether you're staying nearby. Seclusion and privacy are the features which most exemplify Anguilla's beaches, but Cove Bay offers those same relaxation qualities without having to travel too far from the buzz of the city.

Located on the west end of Anguilla, Cove Bay Beach is a sandy white beach flanked by Cove Pond and the Bay itself. It's the only major beach on Anguilla which isn't peppered with hotels and resorts, which makes it a great beach to soak up the natural beauty of the Caribbean shores. It is midway between Rendezvous Bay and Maundays Bay. The surf is moderate and good for water sports.

The concession stand located here is another lunchtime alternative. If available, you could also order some food from one of the mobile vendors who typically set up at this spot.

One obvious convenience is this beach's picnic facilities, so your food won't get sandy.

Unfortunately, you won't find any public restrooms along this coastline, which is something to consider if you plan to spend a full day in the sun. Luckily, beach umbrellas are offered at this beach for guests looking for relief from the sultry island sun. Cove Bay is a popular beach destination but that doesn't mean it's overly crowded or noisy. It is generally a laid-back and peaceful beach where visitors can simply relax.

Be mindful that the immediate vicinity around Cove Bay is is a much-visited area, meaning the availability of certain services is likely to be affected.

You'll find this beach on Anguilla's South West coast. It is close to The Anguilla Aqua Park, which is found a quarter mile to the east, and it is one of a number of local attractions.
