Little Harbour

Little Harbour is aptly named. It's not a big beach or a long one. It's not tucked away in a Bay, either. But it's very accessible and in possession of that perfectly soft Caribbean sand your toes are waiting for. Some villas and a resort are located nearby, but it's a beach that will give you a feeling of privacy.

Located near the middle of the island of Anguilla, Little Harbour is on the South coast of the island, You might think about stopping by regardless of whether you are staying very close. Anguilla's beaches are pretty busy for the most part, however, Little Harbour is tamer than most, making it a good pick for those of you who'd like a less hectic scene, but one that's not completely empty.

How to Access The Beach
Little Harbour is east of Blowing Point and is easily accessible to the public. There is no defined parking facility, but room to park your car at the end of the road leading up to the beach.

Amenities and Ambiance

Little Harbour is on the south coast of Anguilla, facing St. Martin. It has very shallow water and is a great, safe beach for swimming and windsurfing. It's just east of Great Harbour.

There is also a restaurant right on the water, so if you don't want to leave Little Harbour at all, it's worth a try. There are so many unique restaurants in Anguilla, but don't think that table-side service and a lengthy menu are necessary to enjoy a tasty meal. Many vacationers like having lunch very close-by. Sometimes, hotels offer to pack up on-the-go lunches for their guests. Or, on your way to the beach you could grab some carry-out from a casual dining spot.

The snack bar here is the ultimate convenience if you need a cold drink, or something to hold you over until dinner. Depending on the season and time of day, you may also be able to buy food from one of the mobile vendors who typically set up at this spot.

Unfortunately, restrooms will not be available here, so those of you traveling with small children may want to consider another spot.

Since Little Harbour is found within an area that sees many visitors, you might want consider the time when you plan your visit.

Little Harbour is beautiful natural site, which you'll find on Anguilla's South coast; it will be near other attractions like Anguilla Tennis Academy, which is one of the most conveniently accessible attractions.

If you want to combine a cultural experience with your visit to the beach, you should consider a trip to Wallblake House, a lovely museum found two and a half miles away, so it could be a welcomed alternative to hot afternoon activities.
