Scilly Cay

For a truly tropical experience, have lunch at Scilly Cay, a private island restaurant where all the food is prepared fresh everyday. With no electricity, you'll know that your food is being cooked slowly and with great care, and the great taste will confirm that.

There are four items on the menu, so the chefs are highly specialized to deliver the best. You can order the fresh lobster or cray fish, or try the chicken marinated in the chef's special sauce. You can also order the fresh snapper entree, though you must request it at least two days ahead of time, they have to catch it first! Before you leave, they insist that you try some of their house Eudoxie Rhum Punch, and walk along the beach before heading back to the mainland.

Scilly Cay is a bar and grill where they proudly serve their take on Caribbean cuisine. As far as service and setting, you can expect the formality to be very casual. This eatery is open for lunch only, so don't be shy about checking them out during their limited operating hours.

Because of the passably grand scope of this dining facility diners may expect to dodge long waits during peak periods. And, it is an ideal eatery if you are arriving with a large party. As an extra perk, Scilly Cay is located right on the shore

The ambiance is elegantly casual, where you'll experience sand beneath your feet. Dining takes place in the open air gazebos as well as the main building where they have a band stand and a reggae band on Sunday so guests can dance away the afternoon. As most guests spend the afternoon, they are very social with many new friends made with the staff as well as other guests visiting for the day.

Scilly Cay is located in Island Harbour, a neighborhood near East End; it is four and a half miles (seven and a half kilometers) to the northeast of the Valley.

There are a smattering of attractions near the restaurant, permitting tourists to weigh their options, and try something new each day. Two of the closest landmark sites from this establishment include Heritage Collection Museum and Goat Cave, both of which are only a short distance away.

One reason tourists frequent Scilly Cay is that it is situated directly on Scilly Cay Beach.
