There are plenty of beautiful beach locations to choose from in Antigua, so if Long Bay doesn't sound like your type of scene, you have options.
You may also like Green Island Beach, which is in a pretty active location. You'll find it two and a half miles to the southeast. If you're looking for something a little more private, Nonsuch Bay North may be a good choice. You'll find it a mile away.
