Trafalgar Beach

Located at the entrance of Dickenson Bay and Deepwater Harbor, Trafalgar Beach looks over the water, boat traffic, and (if you head up the cliffs for a view) the city of St. John.

Located on the northern outskirts of Five Islands, Trafalgar Beach is on the North East coast of Antigua. You might want to drop by whether or not you are staying particularly close by. Trafalgar Beach is one beach that never gets too crowded, even though it's central to many of the area's urban amenities.

How to Access The Beach
The beach is located at the end of RobRace Drive, which splinters off of Gray's Farm Main Road. You should not have much trouble finding parking.

Amenities and Ambiance

Tucked away is a less visited part of Antigua, Trafalgar Beach is generally a less crowded beach. However, it is still decently close to amenities and civilization. However, it is still far enough away that you should bring you own snacks and drinks.

Unfortunately, you won't find any public restrooms along this coastline, so those of you traveling with small children may want to consider another spot.

Since Trafalgar Beach can be found inside a tourist hotspot, many try to show up early.

What's Nearby

The beach is wonderful, but the surrounding area has a lot to offer, too. Look for it on the North East coast of Antigua; the area hosts attractions such as Fort Barrington, which is not very far away, so tourists could take a cab or probably walk to this attraction.

If you want to mix some cultural exploration with your trip to the beach, you should plan a trip to The Museum of Antigua and Barbuda. This museum is relatively near Trafalgar Beach, giving beachgoers the chance to escape that hot midday sunshine.

Beaches are a great attraction to visit, but there's plenty else to see during your stay. The table below lists other attractions that are nearby.

Other Beaches

Needless to say, there are other beaches in Antigua besides Trafalgar Beach worth visiting.

Vacationers may also want to visit Deep Bay, which is located within a couple of miles.

Of course, there is much more to do besides lounge on the sand in Antigua, but Trafalgar Beach is both a relaxing, sunny hangout and a stunning natural feature.
