Swimming and snorkeling in the shallow, calm waters are the major draws for this Aruban destination, as the water surrounding the coral only ever reaches five feet in depth. The beach remains very quiet except on days when there are cruise ship excursions here.

Set on Seroe Colarado, near Lagoville, You might want to drop by whether or not you are staying particularly close by. This beach is not just another beautiful natural attraction, it's special in that it's one of the few quiet beaches in Aruba. While Baby Beach might be a little farther away, it's the best place to take an undisturbed nap on the sand.

Accessible by taxi or car, Baby Beach is located on the southeastern tip of Aruba. There are parking opportunities along Baby Beach road.

Amenities and Ambiance

Powdery white sands surround warm water which is limited to depths of five feet by rock breakwaters. A few beach huts and grape trees dot the beach and provide shade from the sun.

The concession stand located here is another lunchtime alternative. Depending on the season and time of day, you may also be able to buy some food from one of the mobile vendors who operate at or near this spot.

Baby Beach does have public restrooms for your convenience. In addition, you'll find umbrellas and chairs, so guests looking for relief from the sultry island sun will not be disappointed. Happily, the off-shore waters are clear and good for snorkeling, so purchase or rent some gear if you've been hoping to get in some underwater exploration. Gentle waves and shallow waters make Baby Beach a popular destination for families with children. On weekends, you're likely to encounter a few locals hanging out on the beach, as well.

A lesser known beach, Baby Beach and its choice of comforts are bound to be a good choice for guests that plan to escape all the other tourists, since it happens to be situated inside a quiet part of Aruba. With that fact in mind, struggling to obtain an available convenience at the beach is not a scenario that you will have to go through when coming to the beach, in spite of what time of the day you get there.
