One man's love for trains led to a small personal collection that grew into an entire exhibit at the Aruba Model Train Museum. Ever since he was a small boy, Director J. de Vries has collected toy and model trains. He now displays his collection for the enjoyment of anyone who is interested in seeing it.
When visiting this small museum, guests will can look at the collection of toy trains, as well as replicas of small towns that accompany them. While they are just models, the miniature world the owner has created helps invoke a sense of adventure. Children are also allowed to play with some of the trains on a toy track, helping keep them entertained while the adults in the group admire the fine details and craftsmenship of the models.
Consider staying in San Nicolas if you plan on visiting Aruba Model Train Museum, since those visiting this area of Aruba will have convenient access to the museum for the duration of their trip.
