Snorkeling along the coral reef is a popular past time at Rodger's Beach, but for a little more excitement, there is also live entertainment. Shower facilities and a quaint bar and grill can also be found nearby.
Located on Seroe Colarado, in the vicinity of Santu Patia, You might think about stopping by even if you aren't staying particularly close by. You'll find the area around the beach to be somewhat urbanized, but this does not, in fact, mean beach to be rather congested, the beach itself will necessarily be busy with crowds of people. Instead, you will generally find quite a number of places to throw down your towel.

South of San Nicolas, on Aruba's eastern tip, lies Rodger's Beach. This inviting beach is a soft white strip that leads into shallow aqua waters, which are protected by a colorful coral reef. Sea grape and palapas are scattered on the beach to provide shade, and bright fishing boats populate the waters off the coast. Smoke from a nearby oil refinery can be seen from the beach and while this may take a little getting used to, it certainly doesn't keep locals away from gorgeous Rodger's Beach.

Please note that public restrooms are not available, but you may be able to find facilities at a nearby business. Fortunately, chairs and umbrellas will be available for use to guests hoping for a shaded area to relax. The water in the area is of good snorkeling quality, so grab some equipment if you want to do some underwater exploration.
You'll find this beach on Aruba's West coast. It's located near, which is situated a mile to the east, and it is one of a number of favorite destinations in the area.
If you're interested in mixing some cultural exploration with your trip to the beach, you should plan a trip to San Nicolas Community Museum, a lovely museum found two miles to the northwest, giving you a chance to see, and learn about, even more of the area.

Vacationers searching for the perfect beach in Aruba will have lots of options besides Rodgers Beach.
If the active mood at Rodgers Beach is what you're looking for, think about also visiting Baby Beach, another location where you'll find fun and action. You'll find it a half mile to the southeast. Families with children will appreciate the shallow waters at Baby Beach. You have to travel to get there, but it's the perfect spot for beginning swimmers and snorkelers. The beach is beautiful and the waters clear and calm, but there aren't many facilities, so be sure to pack everything you might need. If it's solitude and tranquility you're seeking, Mangel Halto is a location secluded from lots of tourists and buildings. You'll find it six and a half miles away.
You might also want to visit, located three and a half miles to the west-northwest.
Of course, there are lots of other things to do and see in Aruba; then again, taking a swim at Rodgers Beach is certainly a fun way to enjoy the area's natural attractions.
