Santo Largo

This secluded beach is located less than a mile from the town of Savaneta, and is separated from residential areas by a large, wide region of mangroves. Once at the beach, there are no facilities available, but bringing your own food and having a picnic can make for a really special afternoon.

Located toward the center of the island of Aruba, 1.8 miles west of Brasil, Santo Largo is on the South edge of the island, You might want whether or not you are staying very close. Santo Largo stands out because it's the ideal location for getting away from vacation stresses, like overly crowded restaurants and attractions. Other nearby beaches in Aruba may have the same warm sand and calming breezes as Santo Largo, but are usually more cramped because they're right around the corner from the area's major hotels and resorts.

How to Access The Beach
This spot can be accessed by car or taxi by heading northwest from Savaneta.

Amenities and Ambiance

With white powdery sand and naturally shallow water, this is a really nice place for swimmers of all ages and abilities to take a plunge into the aquamarine waters. Snorkeling is also a fantastic option, but make sure to bring your own gear.

Unfortunately, you won't find any public restrooms along this coastline, so if you're visiting with small children you might want to consider a different location. Fortunately, the water here is clear and good for snorkeling, so grab some gear if you're hoping to find some interesting marine life.
