This championship golf course features views of both the West and East coasts of Barbados. It's situated just outside of the nature preserves that are in the center of the island, and works remarkably well with the undulating landscape of the region. This landscape can offer unique challenges to experienced golfers, but remains manageable for golfers of varying experience levels.
Open daily from 7:30am. Golfers can plan on this being a contemporary, up-to-date course. It opened in 2009. The greens, hole placement, and bunkers reflect the design of Landmark Land Company, the lead architect of the course. It has earned a course rating of 67.2, and its 18 holes measure out to 5560 yards. Also be aware that there's a golf pro, Ben Hatch , available at the course ready to help novices practice their skills or give more advanced help for well-versed golfers.
The course has been designed to keep the interesting and varied natural surroundings of interior Barbados, where coral stone queries, wooded ravines, and lush pasture land feature prominently. You'll find yourself surrounded by thick wooded areas in some spots, only to come out on the higher elevation holes with some stunning views of the ocean below. The elevation changes are one of the most distinctive and challenging aspects of the course, and you might end up losing a few more balls than normal.
