Crane Beach

Crane Beach is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, largely thanks to its beautiful palm tree surroundings, its pristine white sand, and occasionally exciting waters. Large rocks frame the beach, allowing for a secluded and natural feel, yet the area is still accessible off of the main highway. The famous Crane Resort sits south of the beach, while smaller restaurants rest outside of the area.

Positioned in Diamond Valley, Crane Beach is on the South East coast of Barbados. You should consider stopping by even if you aren't staying in the immediate vicinity. Crane Beach is one of those beautiful but fun beaches that is not an overly crowded, but it's not totally void of people either.

Crane Beach is located on Barbados' southeast coast and backed by a series of cliffs. The sandy white beach is lined with palms and the Crane Beach Hotel overlooks it. The moderate waves are good for body surfing, but at times can get rough. For calmer waters, check out the protected cove. Crane Beach is easily accessible and parking is available.

Lots of visitors here find that the on-site snack bar is just fine for lunch. You may also have the option to purchase food from one of the mobile vendors who typically set up on this shoreline.

Unfortunately, you won't find any public restrooms along this coastline, though you may be able to use the facilities at a nearby business. Fortunately, umbrellas and chairs can be used by visitors seeking a relaxing spot in the shade. You will find the water here is clear and good for snorkeling, so grab some equipment if you are looking to do some underwater exploration. Prince Andrew has a house on Crane Beach, lending to its prestige among travelers. Sports enthusiasists also find the surf at Crane Beach enjoyable.

Visitors will find this beach on the South East coast of Barbados. It's located near Heritage Park and Rum Factory, which is only a short distance away. Visitors will have the option to take a taxi or to walk, and it is one of a number of local attractions.

History-focused attractions such as St. Philip's Church are a nice compliment to the scenery of Crane Beach, and allow visitors to learn more about Barbados, without venturing too far from the coast. As a matter of fact, this coast is only a brief cab ride away from this site of historical significance.
