Lakes Beach

Not as developed as some of its west coast counterparts, Lakes Beach is a quiet locale to choose for a day of lounging on the beach, but trying to swim there is not recommended.

Located near the heart of St. Joseph Parish, Lakes Beach is on the North East coast of Barbados. You might want to drop by even if you aren't staying in the vicinity. When you need to spend the afternoon away from tourist-filled hotspots, you might want to plan a visit to Lakes Beach.

How to Access The Beach
Lakes Beach is located on the east coast of Barbados, off Emily Bourne Highway between Barclays Park and Cattlewash.

Amenities and Ambiance

Due to its location along the Atlantic Coast, the waters at Lakes Beach are known to be rough. Still, guests who want to make the trip will enjoy the tan colored sand and dark blue hue to the water.

Unfortunately, restrooms will not be available here, but you may be able to find facilities at a nearby business.

Lakes Beach grants an angelic and peaceful haven, especially since the surrounding area is positioned apart from more urban areas.
