Travel back in time and view some of the antique cars at the private car museum, Mallalieu Motor Collection. Here, the owner and curator, Bill Mallalieu collects and displays his cars for all those wishing to see them. Some of his cars are extremely rare, like his '53 Daimler, of which there are only thirty-two left in the world.
All of the cars on display at Mallalieu Motor Car Museum are in prestine condition and actually run. Here, you'll find a 1947 Bentley Drophead Coupe which was build for Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands, a 1955 Rover 75 which is the only car left that took place in the first Barbados Rally Club Rally, and a 1963 Volvo 122S.
The Mallalieu Motor Collection is set in a red brick building in the historical section of Pavilion Court.
Those wishing to visit Mallalieu Motor Collection may choose to book their trip in Christ Church Parish, since travelers to this part of Barbados will have easy museum access for the duration of their trip. You won't find the area surrounding the museum flooded with tourists, perhaps because there aren't many lodgings nearby.
The museum is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and by appointment on the weekends.
Admission into every car lover's dream museum is $5(USD).
