One of only two entirely intact and restored sugar mills in the entirety of the Caribbean is located on Barbados. That sugar mill is called Morgan Lewis.
Visitors who tour the mill will be welcomed to explore an exhibit of the equipment used to produced sugar during the 18th and 19th centuries. Between the month of December and April, guests are even given demonstrations of how it was done, and offered a sample of the cane juice to taste.
Also on the grounds of the sugar mill is the rubble of a plantation home that had originally been built using a mixture of egg white and coral dust.
St. Andrew Parish is a good option for those wishing to visit Morgan Lewis Sugar Mill , since those staying in this region of Barbados will have the benefit of easy site access during their visit. There are a decent amount of hotels in the neighborhood within range of this attraction.

Outdoor amusements like golfing and taking to the water are by no means hard to come by and are within close proximity. Tourists with an interest in testing their aptitude around the green, will want to do so at the nearest golfing option, which is Apes Hill Club. Long moments can also be planned at Cove Bay, the most close-by beach. Also, multiple beach and golf opportunities exist in the neighborhood. If you'd rather remain inside there are also several other attractions within a short distance. Not far away is Farley Hill, one of only a couple indoor places of interest located this close to the historic site.
The daily schedule for this historical site is not readily available, meaning your party's smartest chance at success is calling in advance to confirm the institution is open for business when you and your companions mean to stop by.
To find out how much the museum charges, you should call Morgan Lewis Sugar Mill ahead of time to determine how much they charge, or if they do at all.
