How to Access The Beach

Access to River Bay requires a short climb, so be sure you're physically prepared. The government recently developed the area with a road and bathroom facilities, which can be accessed off of Highway 1C.

Amenities and Ambiance

The area is surrounded by dramatic rock formations and tends to be uncrowded. A river runs into the Atlantic ocean, making the area an excellent place for exploration. Whales and other wildlife have been spotted from the shoreline, so be sure to bring a camera!

River Bay does have public restrooms for your convenience. Showers are provided for visitors, so you can rinse off the sand. Also, you'll have access to lounge chairs at this beach. You'll find the waters off-shore to be fit for snorkeling, so purchase or rent some equipment if you're wanting to check out the underwater sites.
