Goat Point is a little cape near the Northern tip of Barbuda. It is beautiful and isolated, with blindingly white sand and flawless turquoise waters. If you want an escape from reality, a place where you can forget what hustle and bustle mean, this is it.
Set on Goat Island, You might think about stopping by regardless of whether you are staying very close. The surrounding region is not packed with guests, but that doesn't mean you won't find things to do here.
Almost too small to be called a cape, Goat Point has a very long stretch of white sugar sand along the coast, with interesting foliage and paths inland. It's far from where most of the development is on the island and you're sure to attune yourself to the natural beauty of the Caribbean here.
Unfortunately, you won't find any public restrooms along this coastline, though you may be able to use the facilities at a nearby business.
If you go for coasts which offer visitors a quiet environment, then you may want to try Goat Point; it's back within a more natural part of the region.
The beach is wonderful, but the surrounding area has a lot to offer, too. Look for it on the North West coast of Goat Island; it will be near other attractions like Barbuda Museum, which is one of the closest attractions to visit.

Goat Point is near, so a trip into the city is a definite option. Not far away you'll find Codrington, a city which is a region with interesting things to do, yet is never overly congested.
How many other people you encounter at Goat Point will be influenced by everything from the time of day to the capacity of nearby hotels. There aren't many large hotels in the immediate vicinity, but you may encounter guests from some of the area's smaller options.

You might not find any places to eat in the immediate surroundings of this coastal destination, so it would be a good idea to pack a lunch for your time spent at the beach.
Of course, there are lots of other spots along the coast of Goat Island, so if Goat Point doesn't sound like your type of scene, you have options.
You may also want to consider Palm Beach, which is located five miles to the south.
