Palm Beach

Palm Beach dazzles beach-goers with its blindingly white sand which has unique patches of pink sand as we. It's a huge beach, isolated and pristine, and in 2014 Travel + Leisure Magazine ranked it as one of the Best Secret Beaches in the world.

Located on the island of Barbuda, Palm Beach is on the West coast of the island, You should consider dropping by even if you aren't staying nearby. Those searching for a somewhat calm, but somewhat social beach in Antigua should give Palm Beach a try. It's just slightly removed from the center of it all, but it's also not completely secluded.

How to Access The Beach
Accessible only by boat from Antigua, this beach is definitely worth the cost of the charter for a day trip.

Amenities and Ambiance

Flat and expansive, this beach has only a few buildings and then nothing but sand and sea for miles. To walk down this beach is to experience a taste of untouched paradise. There is very little shade here, so bring a beach umbrella and your sunscreen.

Unfortunately, you won't find any public restrooms along this coastline, but you may be able to find facilities at a nearby business. Happily, the off-shore waters are clear and good for snorkeling, so grab your gear if you're hoping to find some interesting marine life.

If you choose coasts that offer a tranquil environment, then a good choice for you is Palm Beach; it's tucked away within a more rural sector of Barbuda.
