Spanish Point

Spanish Point is the south easternmost point of Barbuda, named for a shipwrecked Spanish vessel that ran aground here in 1695. It's famous for it's beautiful coral reefs.

Positioned on the island of Barbuda, You might want even if you aren't staying particularly close by. Even if you love being in the middle of all the action, there are some perks to visiting a beach that hasn't been "discovered" by thousands of tourists; beautiful but out-of-the-way beaches like Spanish Point let you escape people-watchers and rowdy beachgoers.

A skinny stretch of sand on isolated Barbuda, Spanish Point is a truly secluded beach experience. The ocean floor is dotted with amazing coral reefs, perfect for snorkeling. The beach is long though and plenty of ocean bed is clear for safe swimming.

Unfortunately, you won't find any public restrooms along this coastline.

Spanish Point grants an idyllic and relaxing place to escape, in part because the surrounding area won't be overly crowded.
