Scuba Diving Near Basse Terre

A popular dive resort is located in Basse Terre, which draws many scuba divers to the area on a regular basis.  Here, the focus is on eco-tourism, so they aim to leave all that they discover down deep as pristine as possible for the next generation to explore.  If this type of diving is of interest to you, you may have found your next dive destination. 

You'll find a couple of dive operators and a small number of dive sites in the area.

Dive Operators

If you're ready to go diving, you might want to check with Habiss Plongee. Habiss takes guests to the southern coast to visit some of the least explored sites. Daily dives for all skill levels are available including wreck and night dives. They are located in Vieux Habitants, West of Basse Terre.

Another option is La Rand'eau. Dive trips include excursions to Augustin Fresnel's Wreck, the Cousteau Reserve, and Guadeloupe National Park, to name a few.
