Many travelers choose to visit Aqueduc et Réservoir de Petite Guinée. It is found in western Basse Terre. This unique historical site was registered as a historical monument in March of 2003 and consists of a network of pipes used to draw water from its source to the neighborhood of St. Francis.

Another landmark worth visiting is Résidence Arsenal. It is located in western Basse Terre. In its life span of over 300 years, this property has been a Jesuit Monestary, an artillery barracks, and a residential community. There is a lot of history here, and tourists are welcome to walk through and see it for themselves.
