Bathsheba Beach

Bathsheba Beach is positioned on the stunningly beautiful east coast of the island, offering visitors incredible rock formations and excellent views of the hills. The rugged waves are ideal for advanced surfing, while those looking for a simple swim should stick to the inshore pools.

Positioned near the heart of Bathsheba, Bathsheba Beach is on the North East edge of Barbados. You might think about stopping by whether or not you're staying very close. Though not very urbanized, many folks still find this a great destination as a way to escape the crowds.

How to Access The Beach
The Bathsheba beach is accessible via local roads off of the Ermy Bourne Highway. The beach itself is situated between the Round House Inn Restaurant and Bar and Bathsheba Park, with numerous parking opportunities in between.

Amenities and Ambiance

The Bathsheba Beach, situated on the more rugged east coast of the island, is surrounded by rock formations and tropical foliage. The dark tan sand is perfect for picnics or walking exploration, while the inshore pools throughout the beach are perfect for relaxing swims.

There is also a concession stand available.

You'll be able to use picnic tables at this beach, which are perfect for setting up your carry-out food, or just lounging under the sun.

Unfortunately, restrooms will not be available here, though you may be able to use the facilities at a nearby business. Shower facilities are available, so you don't have to go back to your hotel sandy.

This pleasant stretch of sand known as Bathsheba Beach is on Barbados' North East coast. It's located near Cotton Tower Signal, which is only a short distance away, so tourists could take a cab or probably walk to this attraction, and it is a local attraction.

Bathsheba Beach is very close to Bathsheba, so you can explore the city as part of your day at the beach. Not far away you'll find Bathsheba, a city which is an area with plenty to do, but yet isn't overcrowded. From the beach, Bathsheba is a quick trip away, maybe a few hundred yards (a quarter kilometer).


How many other people you encounter at Bathsheba Beach will be influenced by everything from the time of day to the capacity of nearby hotels. There are not many large hotels nearby, but you may see guests staying at the few small lodgings in the area.

One of the tastiest ways to compliment a balmy beach afternoon is to walk to a nearby restaurant, where you'll be able to try foods you've never heard of before, without having to go far. One of the closest restaurants is Round House Inn Restaurant & Bar. This restaurant offers both Caribbean and International cuisines. They have become well-known, however, because of their seafood. You and your group can get to this restaurant and start eating in just a few minutes since it's not far off the beach at all.

Barbados has several beautiful beaches, so Bathsheba Beach is not your only option.
