Scuba Diving Near Belize City

Diving is so varied off the coast of Belize City that whatever your skill level and whatever you desire to see, chances are you can make it happen here.  From the great Belize Barrier Reef to the Blue Hole, dives range from a shallow 20 feet to over 200 feet below the surface, and it is rare you'll find visibility to be less than 30 feet down.

Dive Operators

If you're ready to dive, you might want to contact Hugh Parkeys Belize Dive Connection. Begin with one of the PADI certification courses, then move on to one of the daily day or night dives. Your options include trips to Hol Chan Marine Reserve and the Belize Barrier Reef. They are found within eastern Belize City.

A second option is Sea Sports Belize. PADI scuba diving instruction is available with Sea Sports Belize, whether you're a beginner in need of a quick introductory course, of you've been diving for years and you'd like to take it to the next level. Offerings include Bubblemaker, Discover Scuba, Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water, Master Diver, and Rescue Diver -- not to mention the specialty courses like underwater photography. A third option is St. George's Caye Resort Diving. Certified scuba divers have several excursion options, including a Lion Fish safari, and a trip to the wondrous Blue Hole. They're located 8.4 mi. East-Northeast of central Belize City.
