Blue Creek Cave

Blue Creek Cave is popular amongst tourists who want the full Maya experience. Called "Hokeb Ha" by the Maya people it was once frequented by many people of this mysterious culture.

Blue Creek Cave is a very large cave with a river running though it that goes from Santa Cruz to five miles down he way to the village of Blue Creek. Inside is a waterfall that is the major draw to the site.


Blue Creek Cave is located south-southeast of La Union, a village in Orange Walk District; it is to the south west of Orange Walk.
