Blue Hole Cave

Located at the Blue Hole National Park, the Blue Hole Cave provides a welcome reprieve from the hot Belize summers, along with the experience of having taken a dip in one of nature's wonders.

The Blue Hole is essentially a water filled sinkhole that is said to run 100 feet deep and is 300 feet in diameter while the pool of water only goes 25 feet deep. The bright, shimmering blue of the water is hard to look away from.


Blue Hole Cave is located 29.9 miles west-northwest of Sarawina, a hamlet in the vicinity of Dangriga; it is to the southeast of Belmopan.

You can access the Blue Hole National Park off Hummingbird Highway, 12 mile south of Belmopan.
