Calico Jack's

A full service jungle resort, best known for its adventure tours including zip lining, cable walk, rope ladder challenge, hiking trails, caves, and Belize's only jungle swing. Calico Jack's restaurant and bar offers both local cuisine and vegetarian favorites in a fun and relaxed setting with great service and an eclectic vibe.

Food

Traditional and exotic dishes are available daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Meals are made fresh daily with local produce, so everything tastes like it was made at its peak. Although they do offer fresh fish, poultry, and beef, they also have an excellent vegetarian menu. Beverages include water, soft drinks, local beers, rum, wines, and a wide range of spirits and digestives.

Calico Jack's is a bar and grill with some unique specialty items. As far as service and setting, you can expect the formality to be very casual. This eatery is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, allowing you and your group to enjoy this option at almost any meal.

The restaurant is set under a thatched roof adorned with lovely, large glass windows providing scenic views of plants and birds.

This restaurant is on the premises of Calico Jack’s Village, which is located southeast of Santa Elena, a town in the vicinity of San Ignacio; it's 9.2 miles to the east-southeast of San Ignacio.

It's location within the small farming village of El Progresso, Cayo District, places it 7 miles from Georgeville along the Chiquibul Road. Its proximity to the magnificent and important archeological monument—Caracol—and Rio Frio, Big Rock Falls and the Green Hole (Chiquibul Reserve) makes it an excellent base to explore Western Belize.

Since there are a few attractions and activities immediately nearby, you may want to call a cab if you desire a broader selection of attraction and landmarks.
