Hill Bank Field Station

Your stay at Hill Bank Field Station is about more than a relaxing tropical getaway. Instead, the workers here hope you learn something. This field station was once inhabited by the Mayan, and evidence of this fact is found all along the New River Lagoon. Today, after functioning as a logging camp for over 300 years, the property is now a field station that works to conserve the natural land and heritage of Belize. A regular workforce of 30 people operate the property, working in rainforest conservation and research. Guests who stay here become part of the conservation effort.

If you are organizing a conference or if you're traveling as part of a group, this hospitable lodging makes the organizing process a bit less worrisome.

Set in Orange Walk District, south of Lamanai, Hill Bank Field Station, an all-inclusive property, welcomes travelers interested in staying in this part of Belize. If you're wondering, the center of Belmopan is 25 miles (40 kilometers) to the south.
