La Milpa Field Station

You won't find a property more eco-friendly thank this one. This field station uses eco-tourism as a way to support the local environment, rather than a way to make money because of it. Guests are invited to stay at this rustic field station and learn about local nature and culture while they do.

Lodging options are either private cabanas or a bed in the dormitory. The cabanas are thatched with botan palms and have two double beds in the main room as well as a third double bed in the loft. The dorm, meanwhile has six rooms each equipped with four bunk beds and a fifth double bed in a loft.

Guests are treated to free meals in the dining room as part of their stay. Meals are served buffet style and feature traditional Belizean and North American cuisine. Dining times are 7:30 a.m.
