The closest metropolitan area to Mullins Beach is Belize City. Since the center of town is 27 miles from Mullins Beach, you may need to catch a ride to reach this beach.
The crowdedness of the shoreline can vary widely, depending on time of day, season, and how packed the nearby hotels are. There aren't many major hotels nearby, but it's sometimes enjoyed by visitors from smaller lodgings in the area.
