St. Herman's Cave

A part of the Blue Hole National Park, St. Herman's Cave is one of the few caves in Belize that visitors are allowed to tour independently. Rent a flashlight from the visitor center, hike to the cave, and take in the wonder of one of Mother Nature's finest works.

There are several different entries to St. Herman's Cave. One is reached along the western border of the reserve, and one by following a high intensity trail from the Blue Hole.

Those who choose to enter St. Herman's Cave with a flashlight in hand will be sent on a journey of about a half a mile in which they can view a few stunning rock formations before making it through to the other side.
