TIDE Tours

Where every adventure supports communities and conservation.

TIDE Tours has been offering travelers the best Southern Belize tours for nearly 20 years, and is a subsidiary of the Toledo Institute for Development and Environment (TIDE). TIDE manages 160,000 acres of land and seascape in the Toledo district, and all proceeds from TIDE Tours are donated to TIDE's conservation and community projects in the region.

Southern Belize has adventure and discovery around every corner, and is perfect for those wanting to get away from the crowds. With tours which include birding and wildlife tours, snorkeling, kayaking, caving, waterfalls, chocolate making, Maya sites, cultural and music tours, there is a little something for everyone.

For travelers who want something a little different, you can also get involved with TIDE's work through their educational program (Ridge to Reef Expeditions). Participants in this program have ranged from 6 years to 80 years in age, and have helped with reforestation, manatee monitoring, maintaining visitor trails, and turtle nest monitoring.

Their office hours are between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, but tours can be provided any day of the week. For evening and weekend inquiries, you can email or call their after-hours phone number.
