RW" Guanacaste National Park is the most accessible of the Belize Audubon Society managed protected areas; located less than two miles from the capital city of Belmopan at the intersection of the Hummingbird and Western Highways. Buses will stop right outside the park.

Set in Central Belize, south of Lamanai, Guanacaste National Park welcomes residents and guests rooming in this section of Belize. Whether or not you're staying in this location, you are free to drop by to enjoy a great time. If you're curious, Belmopan is a mile and a half (two and a half kilometers) to the southeast.
