The Bermuda Arts Centre at Dockyard is a community cente geared towards the education of the arts to local residents, as well as the promotion of up-and-coming local artists. Tourists who want to return home with authentic island art as a souvenir should check out the Arts Centre and promote the local arts at its source.
There are four "resident artists" at the Arts Centre at all times, and exhibits featuring local artwork rotate approximately every six weeks. Themed openings take place at the start of each six weeks to promote the upcoming works and thus the local artists who have created them. All mediums are accepted.

Other than shopping, there are at least a few interesting attractions you might have fun visiting while you are on Ireland Island North. If a historical site is something you'll enjoy, allow yourself time to experience Commissioner's House. However, if you'd rather check out a museum, you may wanting to consider Bermuda Maritime Museum. Additionally, you'll find some other fun activities and places where you can eat within traveling distance.
The Arts Centre is open from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. They are closed on Monday.
