Bermuda Botanical Gardens

The Bermuda Botanical Gardens is the largest garden on the island, a great place for visitors to stroll through and enjoy the beautiful flora.

On the grounds of the Bermuda Botanical Gardens visitors will encounter agricultural buildings, greenhouses, and horticultural collections along with shady trees, and an orchard.

Location

Bermuda Botanical Gardens is found in Camden, a neighborhood in Devonshire Parish; it is a mile and a half (two and a half kilometers) to the east-southeast of Hamilton.

The Bermuda Botanical Gardens are located one mile from the city of Hamilton, and can be accessed by coming up either Berry Hill Road, South Road, or Point Finger Road. Bus Routes 1, 2, and 7 toward the hospital will also get you to the gardens.

Nearby Restaurants

Of course, one of the most enjoyable possibilities while spending some time exploring the area could be chowing down on a dish at a restaurant within traveling distance of the botanical gardens. The closest restaurant to Bermuda Botanical Gardens is Harbourfront, which offers Italian food. The Ice Queen and Rosa's Cantina are some of the other refreshment choices nearby. At Rosa's Cantina you and your party may try a bit of Mexican fare and enjoy the Bermuda scene.

Travelers who like botanical gardens, and have the energy to view some others, should check out Palm Grove Gardens and Somer's Gardens; the first is one and an eighth miles to the northeast of these botanical gardens. Hours

The Visitor Centre her is open from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 a.m., and the gardens on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:30 a.m., assuming the weather cooperates.

Cost

The Bermuda Botanical Gardens are free every day of the year except when the Agricultural Exhibition is going on in April.
