Bermuda Botanical Gardens

The Bermuda Botanical Gardens is the largest garden on the island, a great place for visitors to stroll through and enjoy the beautiful flora.

On the grounds of the Bermuda Botanical Gardens visitors will encounter agricultural buildings, greenhouses, and horticultural collections along with shady trees, and an orchard.

Location

Bermuda Botanical Gardens is located in Camden, a neighborhood in Devonshire Parish; it is a mile and a half (two and a half kilometers) to the east-southeast of Hamilton.

The Bermuda Botanical Gardens are located one mile from the city of Hamilton, and can be accessed by coming up either Berry Hill Road, South Road, or Point Finger Road. Bus Routes 1, 2, and 7 toward the hospital will also get you to the gardens.

If you get hungry visiting the gardens, it definitely won't be a problem -- you'll find a wide variety of dining options in this area. Harbourfront, which has a menu full of Italian meals, is also the closest restaurant to the botanical gardens. Fat Man's Cafe and Little Angels Nursery are some of the additional food and drink options near Bermuda Botanical Gardens where guests can enjoy the local foods and culture of Bermuda.

Those who enjoy botanical gardens, and have the energy to view some others, ought to think about Palm Grove Gardens and Somer's Gardens; the first of which is 1.1 miles away from Bermuda Botanical Gardens. Hours

The Visitor Centre her is open from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 a.m., and the gardens on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:30 a.m., assuming the weather cooperates.

Cost

The Bermuda Botanical Gardens are free every day of the year except when the Agricultural Exhibition is going on in April.
