Bermuda Botanical Gardens

The Bermuda Botanical Gardens is the largest garden on the island, a great place for visitors to stroll through and enjoy the beautiful flora.

On the grounds of the Bermuda Botanical Gardens visitors will encounter agricultural buildings, greenhouses, and horticultural collections along with shady trees, and an orchard.

Location

Situated in Camden, Bermuda Botanical Gardens happily welcomes residents and travelers who are lodging in this neighborhood. Whether or not you are staying very close, you should consider stopping by to enjoy a great time. If you're curious, Hamilton is a mile and a half (two and a half kilometers) to the west-northwest.

The Bermuda Botanical Gardens are located one mile from the city of Hamilton, and can be accessed by coming up either Berry Hill Road, South Road, or Point Finger Road. Bus Routes 1, 2, and 7 toward the hospital will also get you to the gardens.

Nearby Restaurants

If you work up an appetite while visiting the gardens, you're going to be in luck -- you'll discover an exceptionally large selection of dining options in this area. Harbourfront, which sells Italian food, is also the closest restaurant to the botanical gardens. Also within a short distance, you and your companions will have options such as Fat Man's Cafe and Little Angels Nursery giving you multiple dining options.

Travelers who like botanical gardens, and are interested in visiting others, might check out Palm Grove Gardens and Somer's Gardens; the first of which is one and an eighth miles to the northeast of Bermuda Botanical Gardens. Hours

The Visitor Centre her is open from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 a.m., and the gardens on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:30 a.m., assuming the weather cooperates.

Cost

The Bermuda Botanical Gardens are free every day of the year except when the Agricultural Exhibition is going on in April.
