Located in a 200 year old restored Walsingham limestone building in the Royal Naval Dockyard region is Bermuda Clayworks. Clayworks is the only full time producer of pottery on the island, with several independent potters and ceramic artists who work on site in the studios and sell through the gallery.
Bermuda Clayworks is best known for its hand made customized house plaques and Jon Faulkner's contemporary salt glazed pottery.
Located near the middle of Ireland Island North, 3.2 miles northwest of Hamilton, Bermuda Clayworks is found within, and invites tourists browsing shops on this part of the island or close by. Even if you aren't staying particularly close, you should think about stopping by. Somerset Village is to the south west.
