Blue Hole Hill Park

Blue Hole Park is a popular hiking location for locals, eco-tourists, and nature lovers, all of whom find this exotic forest full of surprises. part of the even larger Walsingham Nature Reserve, Blue Hole Park is just part of the adventure.

The features at Blue Hill Park are pretty varied. In addition to the namesake blue swimming hole that is the centerpiece of the park, guests will also be able to hike a multitude of trails that range in scenery, length, and intensity. Additionally, there are several caves, both sunken and air. Whether you enjoy lush mangroves, shady canopies, or rocky stalagmites, Blue Hill Park will keep the active moving entertained.

Location

Blue Hole Hill Park is located in the southwestern outskirts of Castle Harbour, a neighborhood in St. David's Island; it's 3.1 miles to the south west of St. George.

There are three main entrances to the park, all of which are easy to get to. Taking North Shore Road to Blue Hole Hill will be the most direct. Right before the bridge to the airport, simply turn right and you'll be in the park. Another options is taking Harrinton Sound Road to Walsingham Lane. The final options is between Blue Hole Hill and Walsingham Lane, on a road right of Wilkinson Avenue.

There are a multitude of dining options to pick from in the community nearby the nature preserve. The closest place to eat to Blue Hole Hill Park is Tom Moore's Tavern, which serves Continental fare. It's just about a few hundred yards from this wildlife reservation, so grab a table and peruse the menu. Bailey's Bay Ice Cream Parlour and Tony's Fine Foods are some of the other refreshment choices nearby where visitors will be able to experience the flavors of Bermuda, and munch on some tasty cuisine.
