Mangrove Lake

The second largest lake on Bermuda next to Harrington Sound is Mangrove Lake. Because it is located close to the Atlantic Ocean, the waters are brackish.

Birding is a popular pastime here, with migratory birds stopping here regularly. This spot is also home to the largest population of the endemic Bermuda killifish.

Mangrove Lake is located on the island of Bermuda, near Castle Harbour; it is four miles (seven kilometers) to the south-southwest of St. George.

Mangrove Lake is located right on the boundary between Smith's Parish and Hamilton Parish. S Road, Sommersail Road, and Judson Lane surround the lake.
