Beaches in the Bimini Islands

Although the beaches of the Biminis vary from island to island, for the most part you can expect to find uncrowded, unspoiled ocean side habitats where sunning and swimming in almost complete privacy is commonplace.  The rules change a bit if you happen to stop by a beach with a resort at the edge of the property, but even then they never seem to get too crowded.

Pick Your Ideal Beach

You'll find several beaches to consider in the area. You can click on the beach names to get additional information concerning that section of the coast.

Bimini Sands Beach

Bimini Reef Club Beach: Heading west from the South Bimini Airport, go south past Duck Lake. You'll arrive at Port Royal where the beach is located on the south side.

A second location to consider is Porgy Bay Beach. One of the closest beaches in the Bahamas to the United States, Porgy Bay Beach is actually rarely visited. Located north of Bailey Town on North Bimini Island, there is not much here other than sand and water.

Radio Beach: Radio Beach is within the Southern extreme of Alice Town, and is accessible by the Queen's Highway.
