Blowing Point Air Travel

You're just one stop away from your dream vacation

The airport on Anguilla is located less than 10 minutes away from Blowing Point by car, in The Valley, a nearby village. Although there are no direct flights to the island from outside of the Caribbean, finding a connecting flight is not a difficult task.

Getting to Anguilla

When you are traveling to Blowing Point from outside the Caribbean, your first step will be to fly to either the Princess Juliana International Airport in St. Maarten or the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in Puerto Rico. Both airports support a large amount of international air traffic, but also welcome smaller regional airlines, which is ideal for flying into Anguilla. The flight from St. Maarten takes just seven minutes, while traveling from Puerto Rico is an hour long trip. Antigua's V.C. Bird International Airport also offers a two hour flight to Anguilla once a day with LIAT.

Requirements and Customs

Additionally, you will have to present a passport that is valid for at least six more months to be stamped.

When you're leaving Blowing Point, it is best to arrive at the airport two hours in advance of your flight so that you will have plenty of time to make it through immigration. Here, you will need to present your immigration form, ticket, and passport, as well as declare any items you bought during your trip. Note that there is a departure tax of $20 per adult and $10(USD) per child between the ages of five and 12. Normally, the fee is included in the price of your ticket, but it is best to have the money on hand in the event that it is not.
