Katouche Bay Beach

Katouche Bay Beach is a compromise beach that is remote enough that it rarely sees visitors, while close enough to the towns that it is easily reached. Those who decide on Katouche Bay Beach will be treated to a large beach that has plenty to explore, from large rocks and underwater sights, to a rocky cove where you will be able to hunt for fossils.

Located toward the northern outskirts of North Hill Village, 1.9 miles northeast of South Hill, Katouche Bay Beach is on the North coast of Anguilla. You might want to drop by whether or not you are staying very close. Peace and quiet is what you'll find at the majority of Anguilla's beaches, but Katouche Bay Beach offers those same relaxation qualities without having to travel too far from the buzz of the city.

How to Access The Beach
The beach is located at the end of Old Court House Road. If you were coming from the airport, the best way to reach the beach would be to take The Valley Road north and turn right onto Coronation Avenue towards Crocus Bay. Right before the entrance to Crocus Bay Beach, you can turn left onto Old Court House Road.

Amenities and Ambiance

Surrounded by cliffs, forests, and rough waves, there is not much of this beach that is completely soft sand. Visitors will probably want to wear beach shoes or at least heavy sandals to avoid be cut by sharp rocks. If you are felling adventurous, you will be able to explore the rocky cliffs for the fossils as well as some hidden caves.

Unfortunately, restrooms will not be available here, which is something to consider if you plan to spend a full day in the sun. Fortunately, the water here is fit for snorkeling, so bring your equipment if you've been hoping to get in some underwater exploration.

Since Katouche Bay Beach is of course found within a tourist hotspot, many try to show up early.
