Spotts Bay

Though the waters are crystal clear and the shoreline is fairly isolated here, this beach is not very popular with tourists.

Situated in Savannah, Spotts Bay is on the South West coast of Grand Cayman. You should think about stopping by even if you are not staying nearby. Those of you who might prefer a beach that's a little less crowded, but still fun and active, might enjoy stopping by Spotts Bay for a few hours. Generally, it's not an overly popular part of the coast, but it's not dead and empty either.

How to Access The Beach
Access is not a problem here. You'll find this wide expanse of shoreline adjacent to Sandy Ground Drive and if you'd like to stay and check it out, just park along the road.

Amenities and Ambiance

Centrally located on Grand Cayman's south shore, this beach is not as picturesque as most of the island's pristine beaches. It's rocky and wide, with no shade around.

Picnic tables are on-site——great for full-fledged lunches or afternoon snacks.

Keep in mind that restrooms won't be found on-site, which is something to consider if you plan to spend a full day in the sun.

Off the beaten path, Spotts Bay as well as its amenities are a hit among tourists looking to enjoy some time free of the busy beaches, as it happens to be found within a calm area. Thankfully, because of this the availability of certain amenities shouldn't be negatively affected.
