Practically a historic institution that has been lovingly restored to its original glory, the hallmark of Lighthouse at Breakers is Italian food with island flair.


This restaurant fuses Italian fare with the islands so well; it's like a whole new cuisine. Fresh seafood adds quite a punch to the menu which is also filled with some traditional Italian food like fettuccine, portobello mushrooms and pancetta, and they have recently added Brick Oven Pizza to their menu. Top orders include conch chowder, calamari, conch fritter, tuna tartare, ravioli with lobster tail, pirate seafood linguine, lasagna, grill seafood platter for two, fresh fish of the day, rack of lamb, jerk chicken; the most popular pizza is the Captain G. pizza; and for dessert the Beignet for two, sticky toffee pudding, or the raspberry cheese cake. The chefs are masterful in their creativity and the restaurant has one of the best selections of wines around. It's a definite must-dine on the Cayman Islands.

The Lighthouse is located in the tranquil area of Breakers, where you find the real Cayman. The restaurant is located by the water and the most recognizable feature is the Lighthouse Tower. Inside the restaurant the atmosphere is Nautical and the waiters uniforms is the same as ship officers. They have three dining locations, one is the air conditioned port room and wine cellar where all of their 150 wine collection are stored. The second is the screened-in, air conditioned patio overlooking the ocean. Finally, the most famous and popular dining area is the dock right on top of the water.


This restaurant is on the water, located near the center of the island of Grand Cayman. It is on Shamrock Road . For locals and vacationers who plan on spending time in Bodden Town, the restaurant can be found to the east of town.
