Banks Brewery Visitor Centre

In 1961, Barbados introduced Banks, a home brew company that has been selling one of the most popular beers on the island. Guests can visit the property and learn how it all comes together.

Offerings

The tour of Banks Brewery starts with an audiovisual presetation in the "Brewseum," which is located where the old brewhouse stands. Then, tour the Brewseum, where you will find orginal copper brewing kettles. After that you will be taken to the New Brewhouse, where stainless steel brewing kettles stand in place of the old copper ones, and a computer system monitors the brewing, bottling, and crating process. Over 10,000 bottles are produced here daily! The final part of the tour is a trip to the Beer Garden where guests are invited to sample the beer. The whole process takes approximately a half an hour and reservations are required.
